THE MULTIPLY Titans will look to bounce back from their poor performance in their last two matches against the VBK Knights and Warriors; when they take on the Holywoodbets Dolphins on 20 – 23 October at SuperSport Park.  The Dolphins currently leading the scoreboard; will add extra pressure to the home team.

The Multiply Titans News page reports that; Head Coach and former South African cricketer, Mark Boucher ascribed the lackluster performance to several factors; but mainly “batting mayhem and lack of substantial partnerships”.

‘Cosmic Cricket’ popped in during the Multiply Titans vs VBK Knights match (SuperSport Park) and it looked like the Titans were building a comfortable lead. Cricket as many will tell you; is not a done deal until the last ball is bowled. Images of the Cobras looking set to win the Momentum One Day Cup being smashed to smithereens by Albie Morkel is still fresh in many minds. The picture changed drastically in the Titans’s second innings against the Knights that resulted in a 4 wicket loss for the home team.

As evident in their last two season’s matches in the different series (Sunfoil 1-day and Ram Slam); the Multiply Titans is known to pull the proverbial rabbit from the hat.

Around the country other matches are taking place at the same time.

Cobras vs Warriors at Newlands, Cape Town
Knights vs Lions at Diamond Oval, Kimberley

Come and pop in at SuperSport Park and support your team.  Match start time: 10:00 am.
