HEAVY rains and thunderstorms are set to dominate most of day 2 of the Sunfoil 4-day series match between the Multiply Titans and the Hollywoodbets Dolphins. It looks to continue over the weekend as well.
The Multiply Titans closed end of play in their 1st Innings on day 1; on 45 runs for no loss of wicket. The Hollywoodbets Dolphins were out for 207.
Hopefully there will be some play to see who will emerge the winner.
Though it’s not the ideal weather for avid cricket fans; many South Africans are grateful for the much needed rain.
Severe drought, almost depleted reservoirs and water restrictions have a stranglehold on most of Gauteng and other provinces around the country. In some places; the effects of the poor rainfall is so severe; that water has to be sourced from neighbouring provinces to be taken to the stricken areas.
